Feeling excited but a little nervous about your first time on a windsurf board? That’s completely normal, and our beginner lessons are specifically designed to build your confidence from the ground up in a fun, step-by-step process.

Here’s what you can expect from your initial 2-hour Introduction Course:

On-Land Briefing & Simulation: Your lesson begins on the beach with a comprehensive safety briefing. We use a unique, scientific approach to teaching, a methodology our founder mastered during his specialization in watersports at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Kinseiology. This focus on kinesiology—the science of human movement—ensures you learn the most effective and efficient techniques in a way that is safe and easy to understand. Using a land-based simulator, you’ll practice the basic stance and how to position the sail to catch the wind—all before you even touch the water

Finding Your Balance: Next, you’ll head into the shallow water to get a feel for the board itself. Your instructor will be right there with you, showing you how to climb on, find your balance, and get comfortable. You’ll learn the most important first skill: the “uphaul,” which is how you pull the sail out of the water to get into the starting position.

Catching the Wind: This is the magic moment. With the instructor guiding you, you’ll apply what you learned on land to catch the wind in your sail for the first time. You’ll feel the board start to move, and you’ll take your first ride across the water, finishing the lesson with a huge smile and an incredible sense of accomplishment. We offer lessons throughout the day to fit your holiday schedule, choosing the optimal time based on the daily wind forecast. To create a perfect day of watersports, many of our guests combine the thrill of a windsurfing lesson with a relaxing exploration of the coastline on a kayak or a SUP.
